Announcement: a cycle of online seminars “Polio and acute flaccid paralysis: clinical features, diagnosis, prevention”

In connection with the identification of circulating vaccine-associated strains and circulating strains of wild polio virus in the wastewater of a number of developing countries and development as of vaccine-associated and viral acute flaccid paralysis, by order of the Minister of health of the Russian Federation V. Skvortsova experts a leading financial institution, the Children’s scientific-clinical center of infectious diseases, Federal medical-biological Agency (formerly NIDI) — conduct a series of online seminars on issues of diagnosis, treatment and prevention of poliomyelitis and acute flaccid paralysis.

The online seminars will cover issues of diagnosis, differential diagnosis and treatment of poliomyelitis and acute flaccid paralysis. Will review current aspects of virological diagnostics, neurophysiological methods of examination of patients, and analyzed the methods of specific prophylaxis of poliomyelitis.
