Disagreements between the project participants managed to overcome in a short time.
After the failed negotiations in December 2017 finally became aware of the agreement between the German cardiology center and the University hospital charité in the construction of the University heart centre Berlin (UHZB). This was announced by the leaders of both organizations, as well as the head of government of Berlin and Senator for science Michael Muller.
This project involves investment in construction in the amount of 300 million euros and is the largest scientific sector of Berlin. In December it was reported about the unsuccessful negotiations, due to disagreements over the structure of participants. This is due to differences in institutional arrangements among the partners themselves. So, University hospital charité controlled by the authorities of the Federal state, whereas the German cardiology center is an independent Fund.
