In 2017 in Russia for the first time in recent years revealed no rise in the incidence of tuberculosis in combination with HIV infection. The prevalence of combined forms, there were 8.4 cases per 100 thousand population, while in 2016 this figure was 8.5 cases.
By the end of 2017, among the first identified and have registered tuberculosis in combination with HIV had 20.9% of patients. This was announced by the experts at the VI all-Russian scientific-practical conference “Topical issues of prevention, diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis in children and adolescents” on March 29 in Sochi.
The specialists-TB notes the tendency for an increase in the proportion of multi-drug resistant forms. This is a global trend. The increase in the number of cases of MDR-TB is marked on the back of improved molecular genetic diagnosis of the disease and expand the use of rapid tests for drug resistance of the pathogen. In 2017 among the contingent of patients with tuberculosis of respiratory organs consisting on the account and releasing the office (mycobacteria tuberculosis) multidrug-resistant forms were present in 54%. In 2016 — at 51.2 per cent.
