More than 340 students from eight countries have become parties to the medical tournament in Novosibirsk

More than 340 medical students from Russia, Germany, Poland, Serbia, Ireland, Albania, Montenegro and the Republic of Belarus took part in the absentee stage of the tournament medical (MeDic House), which is the fifth time was held in the Novosibirsk state University (NSU). Full time round there were 12 teams in the Russian League and 12 in English.

In person round was attended by more than 100 medical students and 90 experts from Moscow, Ulyanovsk, Arkhangelsk, Yakutsk. For the first time this year in the composition of the expert Board consisted of doctors from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Israel and Azerbaijan.

The innovation tournament was a popular scientific quest for the participants. Teams were 13 stations in which experts tested knowledge of clinical disciplines and practical skills. The most spectacular job expected of future doctors at the station is judicial-medical examination where the description of the specialist was made-up actor. After inspection, the teams had 5 minutes to determine the cause of death. In addition, we checked the ability to close the wound on the dummy.

Assignments for team members were from different areas of medical science: dermatology, medicine, surgery, gynaecology, intensive care and others.

In the Russian League following the results of competitions became the leader of the First Moscow state medical University. I. M. Sechenov, 2-nd place in the Kemerovo state medical University 3-e – Saint-Petersburg state University.

In the English League 1st place team from Germany Charité, Universitätsmedizin Berlin, 2nd – students from Poland, Medical University of Lublin, 3rd place went to the Serbian team from the University of Belgrade, said in a statement on the website NSU.
