For the development of CME will be allocated 10 billion rubles

The project development of the portal continuing medical and pharmaceutical education of the Ministry of health received support from the Council for strategic development and priority projects under the President of Russia. More than 10 billion rubles will be allocated for the development of the portal, NMO and building accreditation centres in the regions, said the Minister of health of Russia Veronika Skvortsova. She spoke at the opening of IX all-Russian conference with international participation “Week of medical education – 2018” in Sechenovskiy University.

“If we turn back these nine years, it will become apparent that what we had planned in the beginning, today it has become our reality”, — said the Minister, commending the work of the conference over the years and the development of medical education in General.

In particular, Veronika Skvortsova noted the successful transition to new professional standards, which became possible including thanks to the creation of simulation centers.

According to her, 2-3 years ago in universities was presented to the “scraps simulation”. “Today we see a slim logistics chain in simulation training – from the understanding of the anatomy and morphology to the capabilities of the simulation manipulations of the robot and to the patient,” said the Minister. In fact, simulation technology is used in all stages of training future doctors.

Distance education has also become part of reality. For 2017 on the CME portal of the Ministry of health, where there will be 18 thousand different educational modules registered more than 300 thousand doctors. Have undergone additional training with a high efficiency 150 thousand

“On the presidential Council for priority projects project development of the portal CME has received support, – said the head of Ministry of health. – More than 10 billion rubles will be allocated for the development of the portal, forming the portal of e-tutoring that will allow doctors to build individual development paths, choosing different education programmes and modules. In addition, in the framework of the priority project of development of the system of CME in all Federal districts and cities will be established multidisciplinary accreditation centers, which will allow doctors not to travel across the country and be accredited in your region.”

The Minister also praised the extensive training conducted by the universities in the implementation of the accreditation system. “In 2017 accreditation have been about 31 thousand graduates, it gave the grassroots level more than 6 thousand young specialists: internists, pediatricians, dentists, etc. – what was necessary in the industry. Continues phased introduction of accreditation. This year will be the first accredited graduates of medical and pharmaceutical colleges. From 2019, the accreditation test will be held graduates of the residency program. In this direction is a serious collaboration and professional learning communities to transition to a modular education in residency and multi-level accreditation allowing, on the one hand, to quickly perform certain functions in the practical level, on the other – endlessly to develop professionally,” summed up Veronica Skvortsova.
